Staff
Kemah Tinggi regulars - of which there are many - love to return for the familiar faces and smiling welcome by our friendly family of Balinese staff. Attentive to every need, quietly efficient, always there but never intrusive - it's a difficult balance to perfect, yet these gentle people achieve it brilliantly. Their enthusiasm and warmth is charming, unpretentious and memorable. Getting to know them also offers our guests a precious insight to the real Bali behind the brochures, with all its fascinating culture and traditions.
Wayan, our villa manager, is always on hand to act as chauffeur and personal concierge for everything from sightseeing and restaurant reservations to how you like your eggs. His team will do their utmost to pamper you too with rooms serviced twice daily; refreshing drinks brought by the pool; children kept entertained and supervised; menus shopped for, prepared and served, and personal laundry discretely whisked away.
Such meticulous attention to detail is easy to get used to and very spoiling. Enjoy!

Dining
Kemah Tinggi's dining menu offers a selection of delicious Asian, Western and Indonesian specialties with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. An a la carte breakfast and tempting child menu are also available.
Meals may be enjoyed at the 10 seat dining table in the living pavilion, on the lawns under the palm trees, in the thatched bale by the rice-fields or on your suite’s private veranda. There is also an informal table and benches by the kitchen for nannies and younger children to enjoy.
Cocktails with views of the sweeping rice paddies are a delight, especially at sundown with the sounds of the ocean in the distance. The villa's relaxed living area provides the ideal venue to regroup overlooking the infinity pool and softly lit gardens.

Children
The location is beautiful, the villa glamorous and the food delicious, yet where Kemah Tinggi really excels is in the unique welcome given to children. Whilst it’s a divinely grown-up and stylishly comfortable bolthole, its space, lush gardens and relaxed indoor-outdoor lifestyle are very appealing to younger guests.
In fact Kemah Tinggi prides itself on being one of the best equipped villas for babies and toddlers on the island - children are treated as valued guests whose needs are of equal importance to their parents’. Families can relax knowing they have the independence, privacy and flexibility to create their own schedule with the help of a villa team who love kids.
We offer a complementary pool fence, cots, bathing & changing equipment, baby monitors, high chairs and car seats. The villa’s staff will happily supervise playtimes or babysit and the kitchen is fully equipped for even the youngest guest's bottle feeds. Sleeping arrangements are similarly flexible with single trundle beds which can be added to any bedroom, one of which can be arranged as either a twin or triple bedroom on request.
Meanwhile our layout enables children to play safely - the pool can be fenced and there are few steps and no ponds - just wide lawns, perfect for kicking a ball around (bamboo goals included).
Staying at this villa also comes into its own at family mealtimes. Kemah Tinggi's children's menu has all the usual favourites plus a few Balinese ones to tempt the adventurous. Our excellent chefs are just as happy to whiz up a baby puree as they are to BBQ by the pool, and at a time to suit you. We also offer complementary laundering for those endless mucky T-shirts and wet swimmers. Heaven!
Spa
In-villa Balinese massages, spa treatments and yoga are all available from our intuitive therapists for a small additional charge. Set up wherever you wish in the rooms, on private terraces or under a palm tree on the lawns, they will quickly become an integral - and very spoiling - feature of your holiday.
